MHF Awards over $80K

Mayers Healthcare Foundation is excited to announce we have awarded $80,480.99 to Mayers Memorial Healthcare District in the form of Department Grant Awards. Applications were submitted by departments of MMHD for the 2023 grant cycle. Thank you to the MMHD Departments for submitting such quality applications. These projects and equipment will help to support a variety of services in Acute Care, Ambulance, Skilled Nursing, Cardiac Rehab and Physical Therapy Departments. In addition, support services such as Staff Development, Marketing and Public relations and Food & Nutrition will benefit from the awards.

In 2022, $50,000 in department grants were awarded. In addition to these awards, the ambulance will receive over $18,000 from proceeds from the annual “On the Green” Golf Tournament which was held in August. Each year 75% of the net golf tournament proceeds are given to a designated project. In 2022, proceeds went to the Memory Care in the Skilled Nursing facility.
