Mayers Healthcare Foundation (MHF) is thrilled to announce the allocation of $80,480.99 in Department Grant Awards to Mayers Memorial Healthcare District (MMHD). These grants will bolster various departments within MMHD, enhancing their capacity to serve the healthcare needs of our community.

The Department Grant Awards signify MHF's commitment to supporting MMHD in its mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services. Through rigorous evaluation of applications, MHF has identified deserving initiatives across multiple departments, reflecting the dedication and innovation present within MMHD.

The awarded grants will fund essential equipment and resources across several departments, including Acute Care, Ambulance, Staff Development, Emergency, Food and Nutrition, Marketing & Public Relations, Skilled Nursing, Cardiac Rehab, and Physical Therapy. A breakdown of the awards is as follows:

- Acute Care: $5,438.30 for a VS9 Vital Signs Cart
- Ambulance: $4,200.00 for Statpacks Medical and Airway Bags
- Staff Development: $5,359.40 for a Geri Auscultation Manikin
- Emergency: $10,000.00 for a MAC7 Electrocardiogram
- Food and Nutrition: $7,391.21 for a Heavy Duty Utility Cart and Meal Delivery Carts
- Marketing & Public Relations: $14,800.00 for Healthcare Content and Quarterly Newsletter
- Skilled Nursing: $15,058.04 for Safe patient handling/patient lifts
- Cardiac Rehab: $13,937.59 for an Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor, SciFit Recumbent Bike, Defendm neoprene coated compact dumbbell set, and Fitter Fit Professional Rocker Board
- Physical Therapy: $4,296.45 for a Metron Value Convertible Staircase
