Lucky Finds Thrift and Gift: Now Fully Staffed by Volunteers!

Lucky Finds Thrift and Gift, the beloved thrift store serving the Intermountain Community and supporting Mayers Intermountain Hospice, is excited to announce that it is now entirely run by dedicated volunteers.

Located at 43504 State Highway 299 East in Fall River Mills, Lucky Finds Thrift and Gift operates Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, offering a wide variety of affordable clothing, furniture, home decor, and more. With new items added regularly, customers are encouraged to check back often to discover unique treasures.

Recently, a group of passionate volunteers stepped up to take on all operations of the thrift store. From receiving and sorting donations to pricing goods and providing exceptional service to customers, these volunteers are the heart and soul of Lucky Finds Thrift and Gift.

"We are thrilled to be able to continue serving our community with the help of our dedicated volunteers," said Valerie Lakey, Chief Public Relations Officer. "Their commitment and enthusiasm are truly inspiring, and we are grateful for their invaluable contributions."

Lucky Finds Thrift and Gift operates under the umbrella of Mayers Healthcare Foundation, with all proceeds benefiting Mayers Memorial Hospital District and Mayers Intermountain Hospice. The store was founded in 2010 with the vision of Lyn Palmer, a dedicated volunteer whose legacy continues to inspire and guide the store's mission.

"We strive to honor Lyn's vision by providing affordable goods to our community and carrying on the spirit of giving that she embodied," added Nina Martinez, lead volunteer.

In addition to gently used items, Lucky Finds Thrift and Gift also offers new items in the home goods area, including comforters, pillows, sheets, towels, and throws, ensuring there is something for everyone. There is also a great selection of furniture staged at the MHF Office next door. (The former Fall River Arts Building).

To donate items, please ensure they are in "clean gently used" condition from a non-smoking environment. Unfortunately, the store cannot accept large appliances, used medical supplies, computers, printers, laptops, older TVs, tires, mattresses, or items left over from yard sales.
