Golf Tournament Supports Ambulance

The Mayers Healthcare Foundation (MHF) Annual “On the Green Golf” Tournament has successfully raised over $18,000 for the Mayers Ambulance. Fundraising events like this play a crucial role in supporting essential healthcare services in the community. The funds raised can help improve the quality of emergency medical care and ensure that the Mayers Ambulance can continue to provide its vital services to those in need.

The annual event took place in August and hosted over 20 teams, with the team from Mountain Valley Health Clinics garnering the top prize. Multiple sponsors, prize donors and volunteers contributed to the success of the event.

Each year 75% of the net proceeds are designated to a specific project. This year, with Mayers Memorial Healthcare District (MMHD) taking back the local Ambulance and EMS service, the need was to support the purchase of an ambulance. MHF is proud to present MMHD $18,653.37 towards that purchase.
